Cooperation projects are projects with a mid-term timescale and focus on the strengthening of cultural actors, organisations and platforms considered as agents of change and incubators for a diversified and lively cultural scene.

Until end of 2007, the Swiss Cultural Programme, together with partners, has developed cooperation projects that target mainly the national context. Since 2008 onwards, the cooperation projects are regional.

Cooperation projects are the responsibility of the Regional Office of SCP in Sarajevo and are decided upon by the Regional Steering Committee of SCP in the Western Balkans.

End of March 2009, SCP launched a second public call for submitting concepts for regional cooperation projects. The results and awarded projects from the second call will be announced at the end of November 2009.

The next call for Regional Cooperation Projects will be launched at the end of March 2010.
